In the wake of the lockdown to prevent COVID-19 pandemic from community spread, everything including schools are closed. In fact, they closed a week before the lockdown. Adopting novel ways to continue with the academics teachers at Amarjyoti saraswati Vidhyalaya are using technology to the optimum to keep the students engaged by providing a creative vision to fly in the lockdown, also shaping the minds of the students and changing their learning habits. This has laid a great encouragement and enthusiasm in the students.
Teachers at their greatest earnest put their best efforts in sharing their knowledge using various digital platforms and keep them indulged in regular studies as well as various fun loving constructive activities.
In the E-learning timetable sent every Sunday each class is updated with their subject wise syllabus, topics, homework and scheduled online test on regular basis while a fun learning activity on sundays. Each class whatsApp group of receives video lectures for two subjects per day ,while a fun day activity on Sunday. Enthusiastic teachers have made their own teaching videos and Youtube channels to give learning in different flavor and maintain a healthy connection with students.
The school also takes training of teachers as a moral responsibility, fulfilling it by organising E-Workshop for teachers and webinars to engrave their knowledge and stay connected with the new arenas of education system . The school IT department has come up with a unique app EDUSPRINT PLUS that offers multifaceted learning as well as school communication options along with online fees payment and virtual Pam’s.
