EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

At Amarjyoti Saraswati Vidhyalaya school, we believe in balancing academics, athletics and arts for all of our students. After-school activities offered each month, your child will find one or more activities that match his or her interests here at AJSV Whether it’s mastering teamwork in Games or time management skills between homework and clubs, our students develop lifelong skills and strategies in our exciting, hands on and truly enriching programs and extracurricular activities. To ensure that your child has the opportunity to explore a variety of programs and extracurricular activities, clubs and Houses have a dedicated period two days a week

STUDENT COUNSELLING

At Amarjyoti Saraswati Vidhyalaya School our mission to produce confident, able and responsible young generation extends well beyond the confines of lessons and of purely academic pursuits. An extensive system of pastoral support exists to ensure that students are able to thrive during their time at QE, while all QE pupils are encouraged to take full advantage of our very extensive range of extra-curricular opportunities. Teachers are at the core of the pastoral system at QE, and the house system also plays an important role in encouraging pupil involvement in the life of the School, promoting competition and local charity fund-raising

Safety means protection from accidents, danger, risk, hazards or injury. Safety is related to the health and well being of people at work and in other activities. And in other hand, security is a condition of being protected against planned, malicious and criminal incidents. Amarjyoti Saraswati Vidhyalaya school is very alert about the safety and security of our students. We have Alarm Systems, Alarm Monitoring, IP CCTV, CCTV Monitoring, Preventative Maintenance and repairs, Intercoms Audio & Video, Optical fiber installations and Fire detection & prevention systems which make our safety and security management more confident for the same.

The Library at Amarjyoti Saraswati Vidhyalaya aims to provide a supportive and welcoming environment for all members of the school community, in which to enjoy reading, research and study for both academic and extracurricular purposes. We have a well structured and highly maintained library consisting more than 15000 books and novels. We create an atmosphere where our young learners get motivated towards self learning and feel enjoyable in the library room of Amarjyoti Saraswati Vidhyalaya

Our teachers and carers are highly trained to work with students with such complex needs and committed to empowering and enriching their lives, giving them every opportunity to make progress towards fulfilment and independence. In same we have systematic transport system which deals with safety and security of student from home to school and school to home The drivers are highly trained and professionals and with the help of class teachers makes it possible smoothly. MULTI-PURPOSE HALL

The Multi-Purpose Hall is suitable for medium size for meetings, seminars, exhibitions, workshops. It has all facilities necessary for holding such events. This Multi-Purpose Hall is also suitable for holding Chess Competition, Painting Competition, Debate Competition, Quiz Competition, Dance competition

Dance Room

To explore potential of students, training of different dance forms classical, western, hip-hop, are given in school. Students are trained to compete in Inter School, State and National Level Contests. Various activities are organised in school for which students are guided by activity teachers

Music Room

Music Room is well equipped with all musical instruments like Harmonium, synthesizer, Tabla, Guitar etc. Students are trained according to their areas of interest. Vocal Music training is also given by mentors in Classical, Sufi, soft music etc. International Kathak and Classical dance artists are invited in school from time to time

LABORATORIES

In schools science activities can make learning science fun. Without the pressure of the science fair, these hands-on projects always excite students about possibilities and power of science. The scholars might be bored by textbooks, but love to see science in action. In same Amarjyoti Saraswati Vidhyalaya has chemistry, Biology and Physics Labs which are fully equipped and well furnished

ART & CRAFT ROOM

AJSV has a spacious and well equipped art room which drives each child to be curious and original in their work while they study variety of art forms and installations by exploring mediums like acrylic, charcoal, water, dry pastels, oil pastels, pencil colouring, clay, wires, Papier Mache etc. The periods in the art room offer each child a learning experience which teaches him or her to be a risk taker, thinker, inquirer and a good communicator in a safe environment.

COMPUTER LABS

The Information Technology curriculum of AJSV has been planned in such a way that the students of classes secondary to higher secondary get exposure to various technologies and software. In the primary section, the students are trained to use basic software like Windows, MS-Office (Ms-Word, MS-PowerPoint, Ms-Excel etc.). Along with this, they get exposure to computer programming at elementary stage through the computer languages like LOGO and Q-Basic in order to improve their logical skills

SPORTS & GAMES

Amarjyoti Saraswati Vidhyalaya school has excellent sports infrastructure which includes outdoor facilities and indoor facilities. Main outdoor facilities include Cricket Ground, Basketball Court, Volleyball Court and Kho-Kho Ground and Football Ground. The indoor facilities include Yoga Hall and Multi-purpose hall for Table Tennis, Chess, Carom and other such games. Our sports teachers & coaches are all highly qualified and well experienced professionals who help the students of all abilities to achieve their very best whether it is Cricket, Basketball or Football

FIRST AID CENTRE

In order to satisfy our legal responsibility for the health and safety of our staff and our duty of care to our students, Amarjyoti Saraswati Vidhyalaya school provides equipped with appropriate fire safety, first aid and health and safety supplies to cover all risks from minor incidents to major emergencies Additionally we empower our students to learn skills that could one day save someone’s life A healthy body is required to concentrate in studies. In case duty to any reason if any child requires additional help, we have a well maintained medical room for such instances
