The much awaited Annual Sports Day was held on Saturday 22nd Dec 2018, with great zeal, excitement and frolicsome atmosphere. The programme was held at the sports club near Sidsar. It began by welcoming the honorable Captain sir, Abhijeet sir and all the principals. They took the salute of the impressive March Past of the students, coupled with stirring marching music by the band.
The students entered into the spirit of the occasion in a grand way with the oath being administered by the head girl. An energizing equestrian display set the tone for the rest of the event. The students displayed a zoomba dance mesmerising the audience with their energetic performances. Later followed by the lighting of torch igniting their sportmanship spirits. Once the races began, the air was filled with cheering and tons of encouragement for the young athletes. Students of classes 7 to 12 competed in events including races, relays, obstacle race, long jump, shotput, tictac toe, tug of war etc… It was big fun time with tug- of- war between the teachers and the students followed by the musical chair. Air was filled with lots of enthusiasm and cheerfulness adding glory in the success of the day.
