WORLD SENIOR CITIZENS DAY : VISIT TO OLD AGE HOME

‘Matru Devo Bhavah ‘ , ‘Pitru Devo Bhavah ‘ .

The almighty has blessed us with parents and grandparents. They are the key to each and every happiness in our lives. On account of  ‘World senior citizen day’ ; 21st August , the students of AMARJYOTI SARASWATI VIDHYALAYA  along with several teachers had planned a visit to ‘Vruddhhashram’.

The incharge teacher Tejal ma’am  alongwith Devyani ma’am , Kena ma’am and Prashant sir had guided the students . The students had prepared a sweet poem on ‘Grandparents ‘ . The elderly people loved the poem .A handmade bouquet was made by the students for greeting them. We all welcomed them with beautiful little smiley greeting cards, which were made by the students itself. The students of 9th std had prepared a dance and performed in front of them. The jolly environment knocked the hearts and all together had enjoyed alot. One of the grandma in the ashram delivered a speech .

At the end the students had planned to play garba along with the members of Vrudhhashram. The Garba beats entagled up and all faces lit up with joy. Everyone attained the blessings and departed. The feeling of healing the bruises from their life was felt. At the end we left the Vruddhhashram taking a vow , ‘We will never forget our parents and will always take care of them. ‘
