Hands-On Craftsmanship : ASIS Group Learns Traditional Plysplit Braiding Workshop by INTACH at Nilambaug Palace

Students of Amarjyoti Saraswati Vidhyalaya, Amarjyoti Saraswati International School, and Silverbells Public School had a unique and enriching learning experience during a hands-on workshop on Plysplit Braiding, conducted by Professor Errol Pires under the aegis of INTACH Bhavnagar at the heritage-rich Nilambaug Palace.

The workshop offered students valuable insights into traditional craftsmanship, indigenous art forms, and the importance of preserving cultural heritage through practical learning. The interactive session not only enhanced their creative skills but also deepened their appreciation for India’s rich artisanal legacy.

We extend our sincere gratitude and warm regards to Highness Shrimati Brijeshwari Kumari Gohil and INTACH Bhavnagar for graciously providing this wonderful opportunity to the students of ASIS Group of Schools. Such experiences play a vital role in holistic education by beautifully blending heritage, art, and learning.
