India is a country full of colors, cultural richness, and festivals. Each festival is unique by itself and is a medium which connects various segment of people in India. Among all these exist Raksha Bandhan the festival which shows a pious connection and amazing bond between brothers and sisters.

Raksha Bandhan is a special occasion to celebrate the bond between brothers and sisters symbolized by the tying of a holy thread, ‘Rakhi’ around the wrist of brothers. Every year at Amarjyoti Saraswati International School we celebrate this festival so that bonding occurs between the students and they have love and respect for each other. This year also this auspicious day of Raksha Bandhan was celebrated at ASIS on 24th August. The students participated with great enthusiasm. The girls bought rakhi from home and the boys, in turn, gave them chocolate. Pooja thali with roli and chawal was arranged by the school. Rakhi strongly binds brothers and sisters in the circumference of mutual love and trust.
