ASIS Group QUALITY QUIZ 2014 for Std 3rd To 5th ICSE/ISC

A quiz is a form of a game or mind sport in which the players attempt to answer questions correctly. In some countries, a quiz is also a brief assessment used in education and similar fields to measure growth in knowledge, abilities, or skills.

Keeping this in mind we had also organized the quality quiz for the children of standard I and II of Amarjyoti Saraswati International School on the 13th of September. The entire competition took place at the ground floor hall. The competition started with the welcome speech. The competition was conducted by Ms. Nehal. She started the competition by reading out the rules and regulations to all the participants of the four different teams.

This year we have team Lotus, Sunflower, Rose and Lily.

The first round consists of a Warm-Up round. In this round, we had three questions of five marks each from three different subjects i.e. English, Maths, and Science.

The second round was a Visual round consisting of two questions for each team of ten marks each. In the visual round, we asked them to identify world-famous monuments. This was a pass-able round in it, we had a bonus of five marks also.

The third round was an Audio round of three questions for each team of five marks each. In this round, they had to identify the voice, song, movie, etc.

The final round was a little tense as it was close among the two teams. It was the Rapid Fire round, each team was asked five questions from different subjects of five marks each.

In between each round, we had a question for the audience (children). Our audience was very enthusiastic when questions were thrown at them. All the questions asked to them were answered correctly by the children. To keep them motivated we distributed chocolates to the children who answered correctly.

To bring the program to a close Mrs. Pushpa Joshi (coordinator of I and II) gave a small speech and thanked all the participants, teachers,s and children for joining them in this contest and making it a great success.

I would like to thanks Mona mam, Bansari mam, Shraddha mam, and Nehal mam. I would also like to thanks Yogesh sir, Prashant sir, Vijay sir for their technical support without whom this function could not be a success.
