Quality Quiz Competition Std 1st & 2nd ICSE/ISC ASIS Group
A quiz is a game of mind; it not only tests the knowledge but also the alertness and activeness of a child. In our school, it is a team game, so the competition has to be played with team spirit. The team that collectively answer the question is always the winner.
Students of I and II had a Quality Quiz Competition on 21.09.15 in the ground hall of AMAR JYOTI SARASWATI INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL from 9:00 am to 10:30 am. We gave cartoon character names to the teams of our little ones. We had four teams named Bunny, Mickey, Donald, and Jerry; each team had four members, two from the second standard and two from the first standard. There were four rounds in the competition. The first round was a warm-up round with three questions for each team, every question carried ten marks and this was a pass-on round, the passed question carried five marks. The second round was to Identify the picture with two questions for each team, every question carried five marks. The third was an audio round with two questions for each team, every question carried ten marks. The fourth round was a rapid-fire round with five questions of 2 marks in 1 minute for each team.
There was a tight competition between all the teams. Team Donald took the first position; Jerry stood second with Mickey at third and Bunny after giving everyone a tough competition holds the fourth position. Along with the participant, the audience also enjoyed the competition too much as we had questions for them. We gave chocolate to those students who gave the right answer.
