Maths Quiz Competition 2018 ASIS Group ICSE/ISC
On the 6th of September, a brain-racking ‘Maths Quiz’ with totally unique concepts was organized by the students of Class 11 of Amarjyoti Saraswati International School.
A lot of preparation was put into it and children prepared a cultural bonanza to make it a memorable feast. The event was anchored by Ashley Parikh and Aditya. The event began at 8:30 am in the much-decorated hall of our school, it commenced with a welcome speech in honor of Mrs. Amarjyoti Gohil, Capt Kiritsinhji, and the Principals of various schools. Then commenced the introduction round of the participants.
The quiz comprised of 5 rounds named – Origin, Concentration, Conceptual, Rapid fire and skills and intelligence rounds. The teams were also named in a very interesting manner as – Number ninjas, Quadratic questions, clever compounds, and intelligent tangents. The entire event was tailored by the students under the mentorship of Mr. Ketan Kapasi , our senior maths faculty.
Towards the end, team Intelligent Tangent made a surprising comeback and registered for the first position, the second position was taken by clever compounds and the third was bagged by Quadratic questions.
The event was appreciated by our Principal Mr. Rajendrasinh Gohil and he applauded the efforts of students and the maths department.
