Get Ready to School Competition 2018 ICSE/ISC Student

Get-ready-to-school

The competition “Get ready to school” was held on the premises of Amarjyoti Saraswati International School in which a father had to make his/her child ready for school by dressing them up properly in full school uniform. The aim of this competition was to create a strong bonding between father and child as we are aware that in today’s busy world where many working parents have a hectic and tiring schedule in which to spend qualitative time with their kids is becoming unattainable. These types of competition provide immense opportunity for fathers to create a bond and have fun with their children.

In this competition fathers had to run from the starting point to the finish point by carrying one thing at a time that is in the first lap they had to carry shirt and tie and dress his child, in second shorts/skirt and belt, third shoes and socks and in the fourth lap they had to carry blazer and I card. When the child was ready it was his/ her turn to run the last lap for picking up the bag and bottle and reach up to the finishing line. First, there was the semifinal and then the final round. The faces of the father were worth watching as we could see their excitement and determination with nervousness and fear of completion of the competition.

This competition could not have been a successful one without our sports teachers Krishna ma’am, Jayesh sir, and Jaysinh sir. Special thanks to the teachers of I and II along with the parents who participated in the competition and made it a successful one.

Mr. Rajendrasinh Gohil showered his blessings to the students who participated enthusiastically in the competition and awarded medals and certificates to the fathers who won the competition.

“Medals aren’t really made of metals. They’re made of sweat, determination, and a hard-to-find alloy called guts.”
