English Declamation Competition 2017 ASIS Group ICSE/ISC

English Declamation “the Recitation of a speech from memory with studied gestures and intonation as an exercise in elocution or rhetoric” was finely delivered as well designed by the students with a message to the audience on various personalities. Great speeches have influenced and lifted hearts in dark times and inspired brave accomplishments and changed the course of history. Their words have become an inspiration to millions of people. On 21st January 2017, Students of ASIS were given the excellent opportunity to remember and enact the national and international speeches of the great orators. Participants were large in numbers, all dressed up to the event matching the actual speaker. To our pleasant surprise, students performed with the utmost ability. Some of the performances were commendable too. In today’s teaching-learning process, children have developed great confidence and so beautifully acted as Malala, Marie Curie, Barak Obama, Benejee Bhutto, Mukesh Ambani, Sachin Tendulkar, and so on. They proved themselves as great orators. After the completion of the competition, the judges appreciated all the participants and also gave their valuable suggestions on how they can improve their dexterities in oration. Competition of this kind will not only increase the efficiency of the student individually but also in the education sector by and large. Last but not least the show ended with exciting applauses and a message for all to keep moving in life with a positive attitude.
