Earth Day Celebration 2019 ASIS Group ICSE/ISC
Earth Day has become one of the most widely celebrated environmental events across the globe. Earth Day is all about appreciating the exclusivity of our planet Earth with its unbelievable biodiversity. On this day various national and international activities are conducted to understand biodiversity and how should we protect our nature – plants, animals, and the environment.
Students are the future of our nation. They have to shoulder the responsibility of making the nation and the entire globe an abode worth living. And for this, it is imperative to protect the nature which almighty has bestowed upon us.
To make the students aware of their responsibilities towards Mother Earth and the significance of protecting it, ASIS organized different activities in school. A special assembly was organized by the 9th standard. Activities for 8th standard, wherein they could bring about their ideas in the form of drawing and article 5th and 7th standard took initiative to take their ideas outside the school campus with posters and slogans. Environment-friendly Hand gears, badges, handbags were made by 6th standard. Drawing and coloring by 3rd and 4th standard. Badges, handbags, headgears, by 1st and 2nd standard. It was conducted in the first three periods under the supervision of the teachers.
Different topics on Mother Earth were given. Students enthusiastically took part in it. There was indeed a feeling of gratification to experience that, these students who are the future have unparalleled ideas to protect our Mother Earth.
