ASIS Group Student celebrate Teacher’s Day 2014 ICSE/ISC
Teachers Day a very special occasion celebrated all over the country on the 5th of September in memory of Dr. S.Radhakrishnan who was an ardent supporter of mass education, one of the greatest scholars,s and the second President of India.
Once his students asked his permission to celebrate his birthday he was agreed to do so on the condition that the day would be observed as Teachers Day instead of his birthday, to honor the efforts of teachers across the country, the teachers who had made our life much more knowledgeable and serving as our beacons of light.
ASIS students had beautifully organized the function for all the teachers to pay regard and respect and honor their efforts as well as get their blessings.
As usual, the morning assembly was conducted but the teachers had participated saying prayers, thought for the day, articles and news. The School Head boy and Head girl had taken the initiative as a lead role in arranging the program.
The students of std.9 to 12 had presented various dances for the teachers and a lovely group song dedicated to the teachers. The senior students had dressed up in formals and had taken over the role of their teachers. They had also conducted the classes for junior students.
Few students took pride in dressing up and addressing themselves as Amarjyoti Gohil ma’am, Captain sir, Paul sir, and Renu ma’am– The Directors of our school, Mr. Rajendra Gohil the Principal of our school.
After the school was over the students of 11th and 12th had organized various games like KBC and Talent Hunt for the teachers followed by snacks and refreshments.
The students had really put in their best efforts and carried out their responsibilities thereby giving relaxation to their teachers, their love and affection showered on their teachers made the day worth it.
The entire day was full of enjoyment and surprises…Lots of love & blessings to our students of ASIS We are proud of them.
