ASIS Group Festival Celebration 2015 Std 1st & 2nd ICSE/ISC

The celebration is an important part of festivals in Indian culture. It is a passageway to the most profound aspect of life. Festival is a tool to bring life to a state of exuberance and enthusiasm. Keeping this in mind Amar Jyoti Saraswati International School celebrated the Ganesh Chaturthi festival on school premises for I and II.

Ganesh Chaturthi is marked as the birth of Lord Ganesh. On this day, the devotees of Lord Ganesh the son of Lord Shiva, and Goddess Parvati offer prayers to their deity and seek his blessings. Ganesh, the Lord with elephant head riding on a mouse, is mostly worshipped for success in undertaking and intelligence. Ganpati is praised before any venture is started and known as the God of education, knowledge, wisdom, literature, and the fine arts

It is the most important festival for Hindus. It is celebrated every year with lots of courage, devotion, and joy by the people. In our school also children celebrated this festival with lots of enthusiasm and joy. It was really a watch worthy to see little one singing the song on Lord Ganesh. They sang it with full devotion keeping aside caste, creed, and religion. The dance was really superb. Nivan speech was extraordinary. I thanks Preeti mam, Vishaka mam, and teachers of I and II without whom it would not have been possible. Thanks, Jyoti mam for coming, encouraging the students during their performances, and giving a blessing to them.
