ASIS Group Celebrate Grandparents Day 2013 ICSE/ISC

On 21st September 2013, our school celebrated Grandparents day. It was a special day for all those who attended the program as it gave us a chance to interact with an age group that is most often overlooked.

It was again one of the most organized programs in our school AmarJyoti Saraswati International School. We invited the grandparents of our students from grade 1 to 5 along with the chief guest Amarjyoti Madam. She was accompanied by Paul Sir and Reema Madam with their kids. Even honorable Rajendra Sir and Geeta Madam graced the event.

The function started with the welcome of grandparents by students and teachers with Tika and raised bud. The real show started with lamp lighting by AmarJyoti Madam with few grandparents.

With the welcome speech, students even spoke about the importance of grandparents in our lives. This was followed by various dances performed by the students of grade 3rd4th and 5th on songs based on Dada Dadi and Nana Nani.

To create more fun for the event few games were organized by teachers with prizes and appreciation.

Some of our reserved audience also participated in the event. Some guests gave very positive responses in a questionnaire that was given to them. Our students too were very vocal in their praise.

The guest was honored by mementos and winners were crowned and honored on the stage. Everyone seemed truly happy. It was a very successful event indeed and we look forward to many more.
