The year 2020<\/strong> is remarked as the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi<\/strong>. The Indian Institute of teacher Education , Gandhinagar has organised a community Outreach program, under the title “BAPU SCHOOL MEIN”<\/strong> The teacher trainees of IITE<\/strong> visited Amarjyoti Saraswati Vidhyalaya<\/strong> on 28th January ’20 to address students and guide them towards the eleven doctrines of Gandhiji’s life viz.<\/p>

1) Satya-Truth,<\/p>

(2) Ahimsa-Nonviolence,<\/p>

(3) Brahmacharya-Celibacy<\/p>

(4) Asteya-Non-stealing,<\/p>

(5) Aparigraha or <\/span>Asangraha-Non-possession <\/span><\/p>

(6) Sharira-Shrama; Physicallabour or Bread Labour. <\/span><\/p>

(7) Asvada-Control of Palate, <\/span><\/p>

(8) Abhaya-Fearlessness <\/span><\/p>

(9) Sarva-Dharma- <\/span>Samanatva- Equal respect for all Religions, <\/span><\/p>

(10) Swadeshi-Duty towards Neighbour and <\/span><\/p>

(11) Asprishyatanivarana – Removal of Untouchability. <\/span><\/p>
