Teaching cooking to youth is an opportunity to teach nutrition education such as planning meals and make smarter food choices. Cooking<\/strong> can aid children in acceptance of responsibility. So for the same AJSV<\/strong> had organised a Fireless Cooking<\/strong> Competition<\/strong> on 25th November 2019<\/strong> at school where children made many delicious items<\/strong> by forming a team of 4 students. They made many varieties of food on their own like pani puri, sandwiches, oreo shake<\/strong> etc. The event was judged by Ms. Nand<\/strong>ita Shah<\/strong> senior faculty of SBPS<\/strong>. <\/span><\/p>

Children had put in their heart and soul to show their best on the three parameters set- taste, presentation and nutrition value. She interacted with the children to find out the ingredients of the recipes. She was also overawed by the efforts of the participants and results were announced amidst tough competition. Students of STD 11 commerce<\/strong> stood First<\/strong>, STD 8<\/strong> at Second<\/strong> position and STD 6<\/strong> at Third<\/strong> position.
<\/span><\/p>

The event not only provided a platform for the students to foster their creativity and decision making skills but also helped them explore their hidden talents.
